February is LGBT History Month 2026 and forum+ can’t wait to share a fantastic programme celebrating local LGBT culture, heritage and history. This year’s programme for Camden & Islington LGBT History Month will feature over thirty events with a great diversity of subjects and voices represented. There will be craft workshops, discussions, exhibitions, film screenings, guided walks, plays, performances, talks and much more to enjoy!

On Sunday 1st February the festivities get off to a super start with 50+ Years of Islington LGBT History Guided Walk and a fantastic finale awaits on Saturday 28th with a Sassify Zine Workshop! The full programme for Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2026 will be available to read and download from www.forumplus.org.uk on Thursday 22nd January.

Right now, many listings are already live and and bookings are open for five fantastic forum+ events. Highlights include LGBT History Month Community Day at the British Museum, Collections Corner at the British Library, Launch of the Log Books at iconic Housmans and Polari Workshop! Most events are free to join and warmly welcome allies who are interested in learning about LGBT history and supporting our community.

Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2026 is not only a dynamic celebration of culture but also an important opportunity to champion inclusion and equality for LGBT people. It is a time to educate and inspire everyone with the rich history of LGBT communities. At a lonely time of the year for many these vital community engagements help to reduce social isolation and build social connections.
