Love LGBTQ Film? Join the forum+ International Film Club and participate in lively discussions on a variety of great international queer films.
At our April film club we’re discussing Reaching For The Moon (Flores Raras), the romantic drama and biopic about the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Elizabeth Bishop. Set in 1950s–60s Rio amid Brazil’s brewing military coup, the film follows Bishop’s life and love affair with architect Lota de Macedo Soares. The forum+ International Film Club is warm, friendly, international and intersectional! The club is free to join, for ages 18+, for LGBT+ people and friends. The club takes place online once a month and prior to each session participants watch the film (for free from forum+ account on sharing platform www.plex.tv) whenever they choose and then we join together for a discussion exploring the main themes and sharing our opinions.
