forum+ is very proud to present a fantastic programme of activities and events celebrating Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2024. All the community is invited to join the festivities and explore LGBT history through art workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, guided walks, history talks, spoken word and more!
Camden and Islington’s rich LGBT history is highlighted in this very special collection of activities and events celebrating the culture and heritage of our local LGBT community. From Celebrating Derek Jarman to LGBT Histories Trail, from the Lesbian Discussion Group to Loudest Whispers Exhibition, there is going to be so much to enjoy across Camden and Islington!
The theme for LGBT History Month 2024 is Medicine – #UnderTheScope. It’s a call to celebrate LGBT peoples’ contributions to the field of medicine and healthcare, both historically and today. Together let’s look ‘under the scope’ and learn about the lived experiences of the LGBT community.
The Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2024 programme is fully interactive with clickable links and a printed programme booklet will shortly be available at LGBT venues, local libraries, community spaces and community centres across Camden and Islington. The online programme is best viewed with a PDF-specific reader.
