The UK’s first museum dedicated to the art of illustration has officially opened in Islington. Located in Clerkenwell, the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration opened its doors to the public on Friday 5th June. Queer as Comics is among the debut exhibitions at the centre and the first major UK exhibition of queer comic-making features rarely displayed original artworks from comics, strip cartoons, graphic novels and zines. On Saturday 18th July join with forum+ and explore Queer as Comics in a 45 minute guided tour with curator Paul Gravett.
